For 3 consecutive days, I found myself in a creative bubble and I had no desire to escape it. I started off challenging myself to not depend on the traces of a pencil, and to trust that I had one shot using a marker- especially after layering the canvas with two coats of paint. I proceeded to transform this King using a newly found painting technique on his skin, as well as his hair. I was out of my comfort zone but it became my favorite piece.
